Sorrenberg Vineyard

Sorrenberg Vineyard is a small, biodynamic boutique winery owned by Barry and Jan Morey on the fringe of Beechworth in northeast Victoria. Founded in 1985 on elevated granite soils (~560 m altitude), this 2.5–3 hectare estate is surrounded by forest and crossed by Stony Creek, offering the ideal cool‑climate terroir for low-yield, high-quality viticulture.

With deep respect for tradition, Sorrenberg’s range includes standout varietals such as Gamay (blended with 10% Pinot Noir), Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc–Semillon, and a refined Cabernet Sauvignon blend, alongside smaller plots of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Pinot Noir and trial varieties. Their Gamay and Chardonnay, in particular, have earned them cult status among Australian wine lovers.
