Serengale Vineyard

Serengale Vineyard is a boutique, family‑run winery founded in 1999 by partnership winemaker Gayle Taylor and viticulturalist Serena Abbinga, nestled in the Everton Hills just outside Beechworth in North‑East Victoria. Sitting at 320m elevation on north and south‑facing slopes of ancient granite soils, the estate spans around 7ha of single‑vineyard plantings including Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz and a small block of Prosecco.

The duo employs minimal‑intervention, wild‑yeast ferments, unfiltered winemaking, and long barrel and bottle maturation in French oak to showcase terroir‑driven elegance and intensity. Serengale has been rated a five‑star winery by Halliday Wine Companion and listed among the top new wineries in 2020—proof of its growing recognition for producing elegant yet full‑bodied wines suited to both immediate enjoyment and cellaring.
