Geoff Merrill Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 750 ml

This wine has great intensity and complexity of fruit, mouth feel and quality of tannins. Beautiful. Winemaker Notes Fragrant herbal notes mark it clearly, and proudly, as cabernet. This is not a shiraz wannabe. It smells/tastes of tobacco and molasses, bracken and leathery blackberry. It’s well developed, and drinking at its peak – indeed my sample bottle may have been better a year or two ago. Reasonable length. Decent aged drinking.
